The service began with the Psalm 130, the Gloria Patri and the hymn of praise was "O For a Thousand Tongues To Sing." We had words of joy and testimony, and a special presentation and banner offered by our Junior Church Members. This week's special music was performed by Priscilla Stapleton.

Today Pastor Robbie talked about something called a "circumstantial participle," which is used in language, but also is a concept which we can use daily. "While we are going" somewhere, or "while we are doing something" we can reach out to others and spread God's word.

The Gideons were represented at our church today by Mr. Bob Hill. Mr. Hill spoke to the congregation, telling real life stories about how the Gideon bibles have spread the word of God, shaped lives, and healed the spirits of troubled souls.

From the Gideon International website: Gideon International serves as an extended missionary arm of the church: Our sole purpose is to win men, women, boys and girls to a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ through association for service, personal testimony, and distributing the Bible in the human traffic lanes and streams of everyday life.

The closing hymn was "We've a Story to Tell to the Nations."
