For this New Year's Day, the service began with the Psalm 8, the Gloria Patri and the hymn of praise was "God of Ages." We had words of joy and testimony, and sang "In the Garden."

The theme of the sermon was "What Time Is It?" - we are not alone. God is with us during all the times of our lives, if we will remember to ask for His help.

Ec 3:1
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

Ec 3:2
A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;

Ec 3:3
A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;

Ec 3:4
A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

Ec 3:5
A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;

Ec 3:6
A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;

Ec 3:7
A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;

Ec 3:8
A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

Pastor Robbie said God is with us during all these times of our lives.

Eph 1:3
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

Eph 1:4
According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

Joh 8:56
Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.

Joh 8:57
Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?

Joh 8:58
Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.

Joh 8:59
Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.

Pastor Robbie explained that Jesus as God exists outside of time, and therefore always was.

Es 4:14
For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father's house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?

Pastor Robbie said God's plan will come about, with or without our help. But isn't it so much better to be on God's side, and part of God's plan?

Php 4:13
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Col 3:22
Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God:

Col 3:23
And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;

Col 3:24
Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.

Pastor Robbie said like good servants, we will inherit the Kingdom of God if we do God's work here on earth.

The closing hymn was "O God Our Help In Ages Past."
